Our feelings are our source of connection to the quantum field. Therefore if we are to facilitate a positive change we should experience it in our mind and hold the feeling. It's easy to see how doing so could be considered a fool's paradise or a delusion. "You're kidding yourself" say the cynics.
Well maybe so, but that's the nature of the universe. First something happens in our minds (as a thought) then we feel the effect of that and "the powers that be" (ourselves included) act to produce the circumstances corresponding to the feeling.
Maybe it's not so foolish. It's all about focus. Anthony Robbins talks about how racing drivers train themselves to focus on the track (rather than the barriers at the side of the track). Worrying about the barriers is a certain way to make sure they hit them!
Applying that logic to a relationship, maybe it's not so hard to transpose. In every relationship, there are good and bad moments (just as there are track and barriers for the racing driver). In our minds we can focus on the good times and situations and acquaint ourselves with the resulting feelings.
And our feelings don't just arise in meditation. The way we behave and the dialogue we have with others create feelings too. Is there any wonder that when we speak the worst of people, that's what we will experience in our relationships with them.
How could you apply this logic to good effect?
Welcome
ULENDO is the Chichewa word for journey. This site is the greatest journey known to man, exploring the meaning of life, our consciousness and our happiness. It explains how we're all connected by a field of energy and programmed for growth. It is my intention to add frequent thoughts to this site which will ultimately become the material for a book on this subject. By opening these thoughts to friends, we can co-create our ideas together. Please join me on the journey. Profits from the sales of the book "ULENDO" will support the Open Arms Infant Homes in Malawi.
If you'd like to be a scout on the ULENDO adventure, taking it to places new, please email me with your thoughts or questions. Or if you'd like to tarry a while to explore a place we've already reached, providing deeper insight, simply add your comments to the particular entry.
Remember that the entries appearing first below are the most recent ones. New friends might like to check out earlier entries first in order to make sense of the journey.
