I was fortunate recently to be asked to give a keynote presentation to the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Annual Conference in London. I noticed that in many of the workshops and side-conversations coaches and mentors were using the expression "the energy in the room".
They may have been talking about the feeling that arises in a certain situation, depending on how well or badly things are going. Or they may have been talking about how just the right questions seem to "pop out of the ether" during a coaching conversation. Or maybe the phrase was being used to describe intuition in its various forms.
Whatever the case, I began to mull over the connection between this "energy in the room" and the energy I had been reading about during my exploration of quantum physics. It felt a little risky but I decided to ask the delegates how many of them were taking an interest in quantum physics in their spare time.
I expected (and would have been pleasantly reassured) to find about 15% of delegates confirming their interest. I was however simply amazed to discover that the proportion was about double my expectations. About 30% of the delegates raised their hands sending a buzz around the audience. It was as if I'd named something that had been going on in the quiet corners of the coaching world but which seemed too risky to be discussed in open forum.
Since starting the quantum dialogue at EMCC, many eminent coaches and mentors have expressed their interest in continuing the exploration. I do hope some of them will discover these words and add offer their thoughts to the journey.
Welcome
ULENDO is the Chichewa word for journey. This site is the greatest journey known to man, exploring the meaning of life, our consciousness and our happiness. It explains how we're all connected by a field of energy and programmed for growth. It is my intention to add frequent thoughts to this site which will ultimately become the material for a book on this subject. By opening these thoughts to friends, we can co-create our ideas together. Please join me on the journey. Profits from the sales of the book "ULENDO" will support the Open Arms Infant Homes in Malawi.
If you'd like to be a scout on the ULENDO adventure, taking it to places new, please email me with your thoughts or questions. Or if you'd like to tarry a while to explore a place we've already reached, providing deeper insight, simply add your comments to the particular entry.
Remember that the entries appearing first below are the most recent ones. New friends might like to check out earlier entries first in order to make sense of the journey.
